WITH CONFIDENCE

Updated: Sep 14

“I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.” (John 17:11)

Christ offered this Scriptural prayer for His people alone as believers; not for the world at large. We can go to God our Father with confidence because our Savior is right here with us! He is our Holy Protector. We do not battle the adversary alone. We have the strength and the might of His Holy Power in every step we take. There is no reason for fear. There is no reason for trepidation. Have you ever shooed away the evil one simply by saying, “I am saved by the most precious blood of Jesus”? Do it! The adversary shrivels and flees instantly. Have you ever prayed with one of His children – our brothers and sisters in His Holy Name – for His powerful healing? Do it! He is with us to alleviate our suffering.

All Glory is His!

Have you ever asked Him for direction and listened carefully for His answer? Do it! He is right here with us! Reading and meditating on His powerful love letters to us in His Word deepens our relationship with Him. My life changed the moment I accepted Him as my Lord and Savior. Yours will, too. He is not “up there or over there.” He is not an absentee parent; He is present right here with us right now in His Holy Spirit.

“If He is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31) “No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, says the LORD.” (Isaiah 54:17) “Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm.” (Psalm 105:15)

Jesus says, “They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. As You sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.” (John 17:16-18)

Know it! It’s time.

Dear Holy God Almighty, Thank you for not leaving us here alone weaponless against the adversary. We know the battle is real. The days are getting shorter. Thank you for Your Holy Weapons! Thank you for the power in Your Holy Name! Amen
